On request we can book an English-speaking private guide for you.
In the afternoon you drive to the pristine lagoon of Bacalar, also called the lagoon of the 7 colors thanks to its beauty and its strong blue tones. Bacalar is still a real gem away from mass tourism and is therefore one of our insider tips for wonderful, unknown beaches in Mexico.

After breakfast you driveto the “white city” of Mérida.
The impressive city has remained one of the safest cities in Mexico and even Latin America for years.
Many of the beautiful buildings in the city centre of Mérida are white. Therefore, Mérida is also called the “white city” and it is considered the gateway to the world of the Maya (Puerta al Mundo Maya).
Use the free afternoon to explore the city on your own. Life mainly takes place at and around the Plaza de la Independencia. From there you can easily reach the cathedral, the former palace Casa de Montejo and the Palacio Municipal.
Meals: breakfast
Today it is time again to discover the wonderful nature of Mexico. After breakfast you will head to the Celestún Nature Reserve.
Once there, the tour continues by boat (optional) and you can observe the beautiful mangroves from the water, where animals such as crocodiles, cormorants and many other birds live in their natural habitat. The highlight of Celestún are the pink flamingos, which live in the biosphere reserve all year round. Depending on the season, there are hundreds to thousands of flamingo colonies. They get their natural pink color thanks to the specific species of crabs and mussels that live in these shallow waters and serve as a food source for the flamingos. This natural spectacle is really worth a trip!
After this adventure, you will drive to your wonderful all-inclusive boutique hotel right on the beach in Celestún. Celestún is one of the pristine, secret beaches in Mexico, which are still unknown to mass tourism.
Enjoy the upcoming days on the beach and relax.

The ancient city of Chichén Itzá was the most important capital of the Maya during the Classic Period (AD 600-750). Many of the city’s ancient ruins still stand today – including the famous El Castillo, or Temple of Kukulcán, a massive step pyramid that dominates the city center. The impressive Chichen Itza ruins were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
